A frequent-flier rewards program at Toledo Express Airport has been expanded to include purchases at retail and dining vendors inside the airport, the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority and Thanks Again announced today.
"The expanded program will help us reward travelers who choose to dine or shop at our terminal when flying in and out of Toledo Express," Jerry Chabler, chairman of the port authority's airport committee, said in a prepared statement. "This program really helps us give back to the traveling community who has supported the airport."
The port authority began offering frequent-flier benefits in 2011 to travelers who parked cars at the airport, in partnership with Republic Parking. TEA Services, which operates retail and food outlets in the terminal including Subway and Flying Java, now has joined the program, which is managed by Atlanta-based Thanks Again. Enrollment involves registering a credit card with the program, for which subsequent purchases are credited with one airline mile per dollar spent at the airport.
Along with local rewards, participants may qualify for bonus rewards through a national Thanks Again Traveler Loyalty Program. Members may earn up to 25,000 bonus miles every 90 days based on cumulative program purchases at more than 170 airports and 25,000 local businesses in the United States and Canada.
