Springfield Township hires new fiscal officer

Springfield Township trustees have hired John O’Neil to replace Paul Hoag as fiscal officer.

Mr. O’Neil, a township resident, is currently retired and serves as a consultant, according to a township news release. He will begin the job March 15.

Mr. Hoag announced last month he was leaving because he didn’t have enough time to devote to the job.
