A missing North Toledo man whose body was found Friday in a field near his home appears to have died of natural causes, Dr. James Patrick, the Lucas County coroner, reported today.
No foul play was revealed in an autopsy on the body of Millard Williams, 76, who was found by two children looking for snakes in the 1200 block of East Bancroft Street. The Page Street man had been reported missing March 31 by his longtime roommate, Neil Turner.
Dr. Patrick said he found evidence of hypertensive heart disease, but a formal ruling on the cause of Mr. Williams' death will await the return of toxicology test results.
