Uniqe flag flying outside Lucas County Courthouse commemorates War of 1812

A 15-star, 15-stripe American flag is flying at the Lucas County Courthouse through May 9 to commemorate the American victory 200 years ago this week in the First Siege of Fort Meigs. The victory signaled a turning point in the War of 1812.
