Three people were rescued near the Toledo Harbor Lighthouse in Lake Erie on Tuesday morning after their boat took on water, the Coast Guard said.
A crew from the Toledo Coast Guard Station responded about 9:15 a.m., and brought three people aboard the rescue vessel. There were no reported injuries.
The Ninth Coast Guard District External Affairs Office declined to release the names and hometowns of the people who were rescued, citing a closed investigation. Authorities said a leak from a tube below the main engine caused the boat to take on water.
