The propeller from the S.S. John Sherwin steamship stands in front of the National Museum of the Great Lakes, which is under construction in East Toledo, as crews from Split Rock Studios and Mayflower Moving Co. set up exhibits inside Monday. The propeller was cast in Toledo in 1958 by Ameri-can Shipbuilding Co. when the boat was built. It’s on perma-nent loan to the museum from the Interlake Steamship Co.
