Pie toss is reward for students' generosity

Students at Gateway Middle School in Maumee got the ultimate reward Friday for raising money for charity. Above, Rachel Hostetler, left, is among four teachers who got a pie in the face by students during a pep assembly to reward students, who raised just over $400 for the American Heart Association during the annual Hoops for Heart event. The day also featured teachers playing a human version of the game Hungry Hungry Hippos, right, in which teachers slid across the floor on wheels, catching balloons in laundry baskets.
