Dana Cowin, editor-in-chief of Food & Wine magazine, says that none of her family members has ever starved, and none of her dinner guests has ever gone home hungry. But by her own admission, Ms. Cowin says: “I am not a great cook.”

NPR's 'Car Talk' co-host Tom Magliozzi dies
BOSTON  — Tom Magliozzi, a Boston-area mechanic and MIT graduate who became an unlikely radio star as part of the brother duo that hosted “Car Talk,” one of public radio’s most popular show’s ever, died of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. He was 77 years old.
