Housing shows positive signs
The percentage of Toledo-area home mortgages that were at least 90 days overdue dropped to 4.83 percent in January, the lowest level in several years. The rate has declined for 13 consecutive months, according to CoreLogic, a California real estate data firm. It was 6.11 percent in January, 2013.

Ohio tax credits spur new jobs
COLUMBUS — The Ohio Tax Credit Authority on Monday approved tax credits for five northwest Ohio companies, including three Toledo-area companies, that will use the assistance on projects expected to create 232 new jobs with a combined annual payroll of $11.6 million.
