Edd McNulty of Erie hugs half sister Mary Miller as his half brother Emilio Garcia stands by. Mr. McNulty, 66, a longtime employee of General Motors Co.’s Toledo Powertrain plant, was united in Tampa Sunday with siblings he did not know about until recently. For many years he did not realize that his stepfather was not his real father. Sleuthing by Mr. McNulty’s daughter, Lisa Waldrop, discovered that Mr. McNulty’s biological father was a Cuban merchant marine named Henry Garcia, who disappeared after marrying Mr. McNulty’s mother.
