Aid allowed for Planned Parenthood
A new Ohio law stripping Planned Parenthood clinics of the remaining $1.3 million they receive from the state was placed on hold Monday by a federal judge in Cincinnati at least through June 6. U.S. District Judge Michael R. Barrett will now consider whether to make permanent his temporary injunction prohibiting the Ohio Department of Health from enforcing the defunding law, which was to take effect Monday.
