Spending data for cities, schools will be tracked
Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel has placed a price tag on local government transparency: as much as $2.7 million over two years. The Ohio Controlling Board unanimously agreed Monday to transfer that amount to a program that puts spending data from cities, townships, school districts, public pension funds, and other public entities into an online database created by Mr. Mandel’s office.
