The Huntington Center will host an NCAA Division I hockey regional in 2013.
Bowling Green State University will serve as the host school at the Huntington Center for the four-team event, which will be played the weekend of April 5-7, 2013.
Two semifinal games will be played on the first day of the tournament, with the winners advancing to a finals match that will determine one of four entrants in that season's "Frozen Four," the hockey equivalent to basketball's "Final Four."
The 2013 Frozen Four will take place April 11 and 13 of that year at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.
This event marks the second time in as many years that BGSU will serve as an NCAA Tournament host, as the Falcons host NCAA women's basketball first-round games at the Stroh Center March 18 and 20, 2012.
