Akron zips past BG 79-68

AKRON -- The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team suffered a 79-68 loss to Akron at the JAR Arena Wednesday.
A'uston Calhoun scored 18 points to lead the Falcons (14-13, 7-6 Mid-American Conference), who also got 13 from Jordon Crawford and 11 from Dee Brown.
Zeke Marshall scored 16 points to lead Akron (20-8, 12-1), who had five score in double figures. Brian Walsh, Alex Abreu and Nikola Cvetinovic each had 12 and Demetrius Treadwell had 10.
