The Mud Hens suffered a 3-1 loss to Syracuse at Fifth Third Field today.
Toledo managed just four hits off Chiefs starter Tanner Roark and four relievers but did have opportunities to score thanks to three walks, three hit batsmen and two Syracuse errors.
The Hens lone run scored on a seventh-inning groundout by Justin Henry.
Corey Brown homered for Syracuse, which also scored twice in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Jarrett Hoffpauir and a double by Xavier Paul.
The two teams will play again Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m.
