Mud Hens fall to IronPigs 2-1

The Mud Hens suffered a 2-1 loss to Lehigh Valley at Fifth Third Field today.

The IronPigs scored the game-winning run in the top of the eighth when Pete Orr reached base on a bunt single, raced to third on a stolen base and a throwing error, then scored on Kevin Frandsen's sacrifice fly.

Toledo's lone run of the 7 p.m. game came in the fifth when Alex Avila singled home Matt Young.

The Hens and the IronPigs will finish their four-game series with a 7 p.m. start Thursday.
