NCAA hockey announces regional dates

The NCAA announced the dates for the 2013 regional men's ice hockey tournaments today, and the Huntington Center, in conjunction with Bowling Green State University, will host the NCAA Midwest Regional March 30-31.

Two semifinal games will be played March 30, and the regional championship game will be played March 31. The regional winner will advance to the 2013 Frozen Four April 11-13 at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.

The Huntington Center is one of four regional tournament hosts. Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H. will host the Northeast Regional March 29-30; Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich., will host the West Regional March 29-30; and Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, R.I., will host the East Regional March 30-31.
