Mud Hens claim 6-1 victory over Columbus

The Mud Hens got two home runs from John Lindsey and six shutout innings from Adam Wilk to claim a 6-1 victory over Columbus at Fifth Third Field today.

Lindsey clubbed a two-run homer off the scoreboard in left field in the second, then capped the scoring with a two-run homer to straight-away center in the eighth. Toledo also scored twice in the sixth on two-out RBI singles by Matt Young and Argenis Diaz.

Wilk allowed just one hit and three walks in six shutout innings, with the Clippers' lone run coming on a home run by Russ Canzler off reliever Luis Marte in the sixth.
