Michigan Speedway to host NASCAR Sprint Cup races

BROOKLYN, Mich. - Michigan International Speedway announced today that it will host NASCAR Sprint Cup races on June 16, 2013 and Aug. 18, 2013.

The track will host a NASCAR Nationwide Series race June 15 and will host a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race August 17. MIS will host the ARCA Racing Series on June 14.

Sprint Cup qualifying will be held on the Friday before each of the two races in 2013 at MIS.
