Despite knocking off nationally-ranked Cincinnati on Saturday, the 7-1 University of Toledo football team is still outside of the top 25 in both the Associated Press poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll.
The Rockets got the 26th most votes by the AP and the 30th most votes by the coaches. Cincinnati, which fell 29-23 at the Glass Bowl, is actually ranked two spots higher in the coaches poll. No. 25 West Virginia received 76 votes in the AP poll, topping Toledo's 49.
The previously-unbeaten Bearcats were ranked No. 18 in the coaches poll and No. 21 in the AP poll before Saturday.
