BOWLING GREEN – The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team will play in the NIT Season Tip-Off Consolation Round Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 19-20 at Robert Morris University, which is located in the Pittsburgh suburb of Moon Township, Pa.
The Falcons will face the host school Monday, with tipoff set for 7:30 p.m. The Colonials are 1-2 on the season and split two games in the Pittsburgh Regional for the NIT earlier this week. Robert Morris lost to Lehigh 89-60 and defeated Fordham 74-58. The Colonials also lost their season opener to Rider.
On Tuesday the Falcons will face NCAA Division II member Alabama-Huntsville starting at 5 p.m. The Chargers are 2-1 on the season and also split their two games in the Kansas State Regional for the NIT, defeating North Texas 78-75 before losing to Kansas State 87-26. UAH also defeated Point Loma Nazarene, a Division II school located in San Diego in its season opener.
