Pearson pours in career high as Toledo Rockets roll in home opener, 80-68

Rian Pearson scored a career-high 30 points to lead the University of Toledo to a win in its home opener, 80-68, Wednesday over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

Pearson was 16 of 20 from the free-throw line and knocked down both of his two 3-point attempts.

The Rockets (2-4) were 35 of 46 from the line.
