Red Wings top Kings

DETROIT - Jonathan Ericsson's goal with 4.5 seconds left in regulation lifted the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-2 win over Los Angeles today at Joe Louis Arena.

Pavel Datsyuk and Damien Brunner scored for the Red Wings.

Anze Kopitar scored for Los Angeles, and Jonathan Quick made 28 saves for the Kings.

Detroit hosts St. Louis at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
