Michigan defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery is expected to join Oklahoma in the same position.
Scout.com, ESPN.com and the Oklahoman reported today that Montgomery will join Bob Stoops' Sooners staff and will replace Jackie Shipp, who was fired earlier this month after 14 seasons at Oklahoma. Montgomery recently completed his second season at Michigan.
Athletic spokespersons from Oklahoma and Michigan declined to comment on the reports of Montgomery's move.
