Dominique Buckley's 3-point attempt at the buzzer was off the mark today, and the University of Toledo fell, 65-62, to Western Michigan at Savage Arena in a battle of Co-leaders in the Mid-American Conference West.
Freshman Darius Paul led WMU (18-9, 9-4) with 28 points and 12 rebounds.
Reese Holliday paced Toledo (13-12, 8-5) with 16 points. Julius Brown, who hit a late 3-pointer to cut the deficit to one, had 15 points. Rian Pearson had 14 points.
The announced attendance was 3,982.
