BOWLING GREEN - The Scott boys basketball team couldn't sink its final three 3-point attempts in overtime and fell to Sandusky Perkins 50-47 in the Division II district title game today at the Stroh Center.
Bryson Collins' free throws for Scott (13-10) 26.9 seconds left in the fourth quarter tied the game at 42-42 and sent both teams to overtime. Collins led the Bulldogs with 17 points, while Brandon Smith led Perkins (21-5) with 21 points.
Scott led 21-18 at halftime.
