Top defenseman back in lineup for Walleye in pivotal Game 5 tonight

CINCINNATI - The Toledo Walleye will have their top scoring defenseman back in the lineup when they face Cincinnati in Game 5 of their opening-round playoff series tonight.

Ben Youds was reassigned to Toledo from Rockford of the American Hockey League today. Youds ranked fifth on the team in scoring during the regular season. He led all defensemen with 34 points. Youds scored seven goals and dished out 27 assists.

Youds has played in two of the four playoff games for the Walleye. He has one assist and five shots on goal. Youds was called up to Rockford on Tuesday and has missed Toledo's last two playoff games.

The seventh-seeded Walleye trail second-seeded Cincinnati three games to one in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarterfinals. Faceoff for Game 5 is tonight at 7:30 at U.S. Bank Arena. Toledo must win tonight to force the series to shift back to Toledo for Game 6 on Tuesday.
